One of the things I love about studies is that it’s pure chess. Just you and the composer … and in this case Martin Justesen who brought the two of us together.

I often think that with studies you’re working together with the problem setter. They create and we try to solve. And when we do, somehow we both win.

Tech billionaires gonna tech billionaire and  morally vacuous big chess websites gonna chess dot com. So what?

With studies none of the matters. Clever and pretty is still clever and pretty.
