These past few weeks have been a struggle.

The notebook doesn't lie. My work on Set Two has been a long way from the consistency (see Woodpecker X) I’ve been aiming for.

At times like this there’s not much to be done other than remember that you’re in it for the long haul. Years not months.

These few non-ideal weeks are a significant proportion of the first three months of 2021, but will become infinitely less of 2022, 2023 and 2024. Which is not how it feels at the moment, to be honest. Sometimes you just have to ignore how it feels.
