Immersion

When you realise that you've got a lot of free time coming up and nothing specific to do with it ... you might as well throw yourself into chess, right?

My chess goals for September:

  • Play 5 training games at 30+15 / 40+30
  • Complete the 222 "Easy" Positions from The Woodpecker Method (5-10 each day)
  • Study 30 Beat the Masters positions (one each day)
  • Play through 100 games of Isaac Boleslavsky (3-4 daily)
  • Finish Boost Your Chess: Fundamentals (18 chapters & final test to go)
  • Re-read Excelling at Chess
  • Listen to all the new episodes of The Chess Pit
  • Listen to all the previously released 'adult improver' episodes of Perpetual Chess
  • Finish Tiny Habits (by 15th September)
  • Read one other new book - title yet to be decided - 16th to 30th September
  • Re-watch Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine; Bobby Fischer Against The World; Magnus
